Power Dynamics PDS50B 6.5-inch 100V Pendant Speaker Black

The Power Dynamics PDS50B is a passive 2-way pendant speaker designed for background music and voice announcements in retail, hospitality and corporate environments. Its suspended format suits open-ceiling installations, providing wide, even sound coverage without requiring wall-mounted speakers.

A rotary tap selector allows operation with 100 V and 70 V distributed audio systems or an 8 Ω low-impedance amplifier. The speaker combines a 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer with a 1-inch Mylar dome tweeter, delivering a frequency response of 70 Hz to 20 kHz. Dual front ports support low-frequency reproduction, while the 90° dispersion pattern helps distribute balanced audio across open areas.

The enclosure is made from rigid, glass-fibre reinforced ABS to resist impacts and temperature changes in commercial settings. A frameless steel grille attaches magnetically for a clean appearance and straightforward servicing. The speaker is individually boxed and includes a 2.2 m steel-core safety suspension cable and speaker cable.
